Significant Impact Factor Gains for AI and Computer Sciences Journals

Amsterdam, NL – IOS Press announces significant Impact Factor growth in its journals in artificial intelligence, computer & communications sciences and mathematics, according to the 2016 Journal Citation Reports® (JCR) released by Clarivate Analytics this month.
Twenty-eight IOS Press journals are currently included in the JCR. Particularly noteworthy is Semantic Web, with a 62% increase to 2.889 in its second year of being ranked. It has placed in the first quartiles of three categories: Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence (33 out of 133 journals); Computer Science, Information Science (36 out of 146); and Computer Science, Theory and Methods (14 out of 104).
Other journals in these disciplines that have achieved strong Impact Factor growth include:
- Applied Ontology (146% increase)
- Asymptotic Analysis (125% increase)
- AI Communications (80% increase)
- Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems (26% increase)
- Intelligent Data Analysis (22% increase)
IOS Press’s Journals focusing on neurodegenerative disorders continue to perform well, led by the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease with a current Impact Factor of 3.731, ranked 68th out of 256 journals in the highly competitive Neurosciences category.
