Started in 1980, the Journal of Information & Optimization Sciences (JIOS) is being published in one volume per year of six issues in the months of January, March, May, July, September and November. Original research papers, survey articles, book reviews, dissertation abstracts etc. mainly of mathematics orientation in all advances of Information Sciences, Information Technology, Optimization Sciences and related areas such as Mathematical System theory, Communication Theory, Data Mining, Computer Vision, Learning Theory, Control Theory, Signal and Image Processing, Image Database, Speech Recognition, Probabilistic Reasoning, Simulation and Modeling, Operation Research, Game Theory, Combinatorial Optimization, Software Engineering, Mathematical Programming etc. are considered for publication in this journal. Editors follow a 2-referee report before accepting a paper for publication in this journal. Utmost care is taken to upkeep the quality of contents in accordance with the international standards. Many international authorities in their respective areas of research have been associated and are currently associated with this journal as Advisory Editors and Associate Editors.
