This book is the third in a series on industrial high voltage by F.H. Kreuger. It presents the basic principles of high voltage science and deals with the practical application of this knowledge. It opens with two chapters on the complicated behaviour of DC-related fields and continues with chapters on surface charges and space charges which affect these fields, partial discharges, and other breakdown mechanisms.
