This book will provide a comprehensive review of the surgical aspects of breast disease from outstanding leaders in the fields. Each chapter will offer a state-of-the-art discussion with the authors’ assessments of future direction in the field. Topics will range from the surgical management of high risk patients, as well as patients with DCIS and invasive cancer. Chapters will be devoted to the status of sentinel lymphadenectomy as well as management of breast cancer in the elderly and management of locally advanced breast cancer.
